This
photograph was taken during my visit to the coast last week.
Other images from that trip can be seen
in a series called Coastal
Winter.
Winter is generally the best time of year for viewing distance
when looking out to sea since there is very little humidity
in the atmosphere to reduce visibility. In the top left area
of this photograph you can just barely see a lighthouse on one
of the Isles of Shoals which sit ten miles off shore.
I also brought my Nikon 35mm camera with 210mm lens along and
took some images which I will post as soon as I get the film
developed. On those images, the Shoals are clearly visible.
