If you've
ever been in Portsmouth, you undoubtedly have seen the large
salt pile which sits between Market Street and the Piscataqua
River. This salt is brought in by freighter from South America.
The "Wann Falcon's"
cargo of salt is being unloaded for use on New Hampshire's roads
during the winter months. Click on images for a larger view
of each photograph.
