Carnival season – I hadn't planned on attending nor did I realize there was a carnival going on at Singer Park in Manchester, but as I was about to pass the exit I noticed all the rides set up and I decided to take a quick detour to see what I could capture. It turned out the amusements just opened and there were few people and nobody on the rides. Since I wasn't going to wait around, I decided to take a couple photographs and leave with the intention of returning at some point to shoot a series on this subject.
