Prescott Park
– Once again I found myself in Portsmouth with my camera
in search of that illusive photograph. My original intent was
to attend the Chowder Festival being held today in Prescott
Park to feed on some great New England chowder recipies being
offered up by local restaurants. But instead, I grew impatient
and ended up leaving rather than wait in a very long line stretching
for blocks down the street along side the park. Perhaps next
year they can allow people in as they arrive, then announce
when the chowder is ready, rather than make us stand in line
for over an hour only to be hearded through the gates in a mad
rush to get chowder before it runs out.
Anyway, it turns out a small fenced in area of
Prescott Park sitting along side the road with flower gardens,
brick paths, water fountains, and benches provided my photo
opportunity today. Click on image to view series.
