“Photography from the road” is a place for me to present some of the images I take while out and about. Most times I bring my camera along where ever I go and take pictures through the windshield of my car, or park and see what I can find in the way of an interesting subject. I intend for these photographs to be more documentary than artistic, although sometimes creative things happen. I hope you enjoy them.

I am fortunate to live within an hour of New Hampshire's coastline. There are many interesting subjects to photograph here including the Tugboats as shown in this series I am calling Tugboat Alley.

Ceres Street in downtown Portsmouth, where the Tugboats dock, is very narrow and runs along side the water. It is the location for Portsmouth's summer Jazz festival and the home for several of Portsmouth's popular restaurants.
